The Dr. T Editor/Librarian Manual

The listing said that it's for the software v2.0 (February 1988) for the Commodore Amiga and there are 70 numbered pages, as well as a "PROMO" stamped on the title page. My hope is that this is a full manual containing all the information; I'm not too worried about later typo corrections. ...

Re: SC-8850 information

I've been working on a Rosegarden studio device file for the Roland SC-8850, and I'm finally done (unless I notice any inconsistencies or typos I haven't already corrected). I just submitted it to rosegarden's devel mailing list for consideration, but since it may take a while to end up in rosegarde...

Re: MIDI rips of Konami's 1993 Sharp X68000 game, "Akumajō Dracula" for Roland MT-32/CM-32L/CM-64

As of three days ago, Serg M, closed the feature request and it's in the latest version! Thanks very much, Sergey, if you're reading this! That means, if you download (& and compile if necessary) MUNT 2.2.0 and use the GUI (I only tested with mt32emu-qt), its built-in "Play MIDI File...&quo...

Re: Anyone hear from Tom?

It was somewhere around October 11th 2015 for his last reply, according to my email, and his MT-32 would have been sold a few days later, if I remember right. I remember posting his sale on these forums (before there was a Classified's section) but I must have deleted it since. Good, I'm glad to hea...

Re: What it was like to work at Sierra (YouTube video)

Thanks, that was fun to hear about and would've been a neat job! Ah, the good old days, from a perspective I never partook. That's also another youtube gaming channel I'll have to check out.

Re: Anyone hear from Tom?

I contacted him through ebay about when I linked his MT-32's sale here. I was hoping that if he still had his Dr. T's MT-32 Editor/Librarian manual (which he wrote has a wealth of information on programming the MT-32) and had no use for it anymore he would send it to me. He said if he could find it,...

Yup, Willy Beamish required a wait with my slow internet service, but works great. :)

Re: Muki.io - A web-based MT-32 Emulator MIDI Player, among other things.

Thanks, it's nothing bad or anything, just a lot of stuff all at once. haha. Good; yeah, that happens. :) The SQ3 soundtrack definitely plays fast there. In talking with Tomás about it we've not been able to figure out quite why. It's one of those things where it seems to be only that one file as f...

Interesting stuff! You should definitely post that to the MUNT project pages on either SourceForge or Github if you have not already. I've just made a "Tech support / knowledgebase" subforum. This info could be our first post. :) Thanks! On your suggestion, I created a bug ticket on sourc...

Re: Muki.io - A web-based MT-32 Emulator MIDI Player, among other things.

The following is a test for some new features of the player that are being implemented. There are a number of things that may not work in the playlist. Neat; I like the new features that seem to work! Is it just me, though, or does the Space Quest 3 Soundtrack play a bit too fast (My Pentium 90 MHz...
