Re: GS Drum kits in the soundtrack archive
Haha, well, at least I know it's working properly for GS files :p I do not have a website, though there are remnants of my old Geocities site floating around the internet, which probably wouldn't be of interest at this point. I DO have the previous BETA version of my program on google drive. https:...

Re: Leisure Suit Larry 3 - CM-64 Soundtrack
Hi, sorry, I missed your post. Sort of. The CM-64 uses the CM-32P patch map for channels 11-16. It has, indeed, only 64 patch change messages (1-64), but it also reserves patch change messages for the SN-U110 expansion card from 65 onwards. Channels 2-10 are the CM-32L part, and work as you might e...

Re: Some solo Sierra parts on the INTEGRA-7
Hey folks, I recorded this a while back, but never got around to uploading it. It's a bunch of solo instruments/parts from Sierra scores played back on high quality Roland INTEGRA-7 patches. The idea at the time was to give a preview of the quality of the Integra for the recordings I was working on...

Re: King's Quest IV Finale MIDI
OK, with Note Off, you guys mean the velocity for "Note Off", not a controller command, right? I see that KQ4 uses nonstandard values. In every Sierra game, barring maybe an odd track here or there, the default 64 is used for "Off" velocity, and KQ4 uses sometimes 64 and sometim...

Re: King's Quest IV Finale MIDI
Yep, that's what I encountered in the midi file and subsequently fixed (though I'm not sure the values I gave those controllers were exactly as were intended). I used Anvil Studio, btw. It's not as easy for me to use as old CakeWalk3, but it get's the job done quite nicely. You're quite welcome! :)...

Re: Qmidiroute patched for some GS use
The patch version I uploaded today (0.5.1) adds and modifies about three main things: qmidiroute-0.4.0-to-0.5.1-patches.7z 1. SysEx Edit: If you have multiple offset values that do (or could) occur on the same message, you can now group them with a new syntax to denote it. That is, wrap each comma-s...

Re: King's Quest IV Finale MIDI
Well, after getting multiple SysEx edits to a single message working, I still saw the volume increase (and decrease on the timpani), so I looked for other reasons. It turns out, that when outputting only SysEx (including those with the edits), the volumes were correct, but as soon as the notes began...

Re: King's Quest IV Finale MIDI
Thanks, Jaffaman, Honestly, I know next to nothing about Sysex messages (other than sending or deleting it). I was under the impression that all the kq4.syx file did was mute channels 1 and 11-16 on the file, since early versions of Sierra soundtracks included other versions (Casio maybe?) of the m...

Re: King's Quest IV Finale MIDI
That's great, thanks for providing it! It sounds great with the timpani! I don't listen to the non-soundtracks as much, so you've inadvertently provided me with another test case for my qmidiroute patches. This SysEx seemingly affecting this overflow is the "output level" in the "patc...
