New lossless FLAC recordings of MIDI soundtracks
Previously at The Quest Studios Archive ... I put together a lossless recording archive of physical CDs that Quest Studios and LucasFans had produced. I started an archive of MIDI and digital files from Quest Studios that (for the most part) have not yet found a new home here at MIDI Music Adventure...

Re: Quest Studios MIDI files
Just to be clear, which tracks don't have source MIDI's? Or too many to mention? For any track in any of these archives that is digital audio (13 so far, I think), I don't have source MIDIs. For example, the "Lytton.mp3" that you provided for me. So far as I know, Tom never provided the o...

Re: Physical Quest Studios CDs and digital preservation
Updated: Inca & Inca II.zip with credits corrections courtesy of Spikey's awesome research.
Again, if there are any pops or clicks in any of these tracks, please let me know. I'm not hearing any issues myself, but my ears aren't young.

Day 6 (I'm not counting days I skip) - Sierra Classics . These are MIDI files (and a few MP3s) created with the help of the Sierra AGI MIDI Utility found at the MT-32 Resource Utilities page, then enhanced by Tom with custom instrument mapping. Listen to Sierra's classic AGI (Adventure Game Interpre...

Looking for files from Quest Studios
I wondered how far into my archive posting project I'd get before I ran into some items I can't find. :) I'm looking for these two files: 1) Lytton.mp3, "Lytton Litany" by Tom Lewandowski. Available on the website from late 2000 to early 2005 on the "Music by Tom Lewandowski" pag...

Day 5 - Today's soundtrack, Silpheed , posted at the URL posted at the top of this thread. Originally posted back in the late 90's as seven individual tracks for MT-32 and Sound Blaster AWE General MIDI, track #6 (Asteroid Belt) vanished from Tom's site in the new millennium. Around that time, Tom a...

Day 4: Tom's original compositions for The Kanen Expedition and The Time of the Phoenix. Unfortunately, I do not have the Cakewalk files, and they were too large for the Internet Archive to keep at the time these pages were captured.

Re: Welcome!
Correct re KQ8, but KQ7 is 95% MIDI. The reason Tom never recorded it was I believe because of its length. It has something like 100 pieces (~70 for a typical soundtrack release with some merged tracks). I would love to do it someday, but it's a pain in the proverbial. ;) Thanks for the correction....
