Re: MIDI Editing Software
The catch appears to be "Cakewalk by BandLab and all its world-leading features are available free-to-download via the BandLab Assistant client for Windows - your central hub on your desktop for your musical creative process." So if you don't want said Assistant, go another way. If you're ...

Re: MIDI Editing Software
I use Voyetra Record Producer MIDI Edition, which is basically the same as MIDI Orchestrator and Digital Orchestrator, but works on 32-bit systems and has a very slight updated interface. You can't find it for purchase (AFAIK), but it can be found otherwise, and works on Win 10. PM me if interested....

Re: New lossless FLAC recordings of MIDI soundtracks

Re: Physical Quest Studios CDs and lossless digital preservation
Hah, I wondered if anyone would've seen that. We talked for 5 hours, 3 hours were recorded, and then about 2.5 hours was edited down for the 6 part interview. So we spoke a lot longer. Many things were unprintable, though. ;) The news in brief is I may be rerecording the GK1 score, and also may be r...

Re: Physical Quest Studios CDs and lossless digital preservation
Likewise, Goatmeal! And thanks again to Marten and your good self for your hard work on this endeavour. With Tom MIA these days, it's important and good work you're doing. Thanks also to our fearless leader Andrew, as you say. Hopefully I will have various bits of Sierra music news between now and t...

Mailing list for Sierra vinyl releases
Hey folks, If you are interested in being kept up to date on future Sierra vinyl releases (separate from my normal soundtrack releases), please add your name and email/other to this list. :) GK1 (20th anniversary version, with bonus MIDI versions) is the likely first candidate. https://forms.gle/gNN...

Re: I'm writing a book!
Yes, but I don't login often, as I prefer the relative feeling of freedom of regular forums. :) Can't say I blame you. Facebook is unfortunately where most Sierra discussion happens now.. :( I hadn't, so thanks for making me aware of it. It's too bad I want the physical color books, so I'll have to...

Re: I'm writing a book!
Thanks for the replies, guys. Slightly more detailed post this time. (BTW, Jaffa, Gary, are you on Facebook?) I am planning (not announced or decided yet) to write a Sierra music book, with a Kickstarter potentially in Q1 of next year. Some information: For those unfamiliar with me personally, hi! I...
