Re: Qmidiroute patched for some GS use

So I have a question: What does this thing do? I don't mean any disrespect, since you obviously put a lot of work into this program, but I really get lost in all the technobabble... Could you give a brief summary, preferably in layman terms? Sure, and thank you for the interest! I hope this is less...

Re: Qmidiroute patched for some GS use

Whoops, I noticed I'd forgotten Program Change's section... It's been fixed right away, but not quite quick enough for one person. Sorry to you!

Re: Qmidiroute patched for some GS use

I have again released a last-night-noticed fix to a bug (which, this time, was created during my first fix release). And again, I replaced my 0.5.2 version link with it. Again, I'm sorry to the early adopters. This repair only changed eight lines, so I imagine no harm could be done, and I tested it ...

Re: "Quest for Glory 5: Dragon Fire" music from QuestStudios?

Hello, Sorry if this has been discussed or answered before, but I have been looking for the music tracks for "Quest for Glory V: Dragon Fire" that used to be available on Tom Lewandowski's (?) QuestStudios website some years ago. The page dedicated to that game --- if I recall correctly -...

Re: Qmidiroute patched for some GS use

Sorry to have released it with a glitch (especially to the one or two people who already downloaded it), but I noticed what seems a long standing one (at least it's in 0.5.1 for sure), and just fixed it, replacing the original flawed version 0.5.2. It was apparent when I tried the SC-55 variation fa...

Re: Qmidiroute patched for some GS use

First, since I forgot to mention it before now (in this thread), version 0.5.0 added the ability to remove SysEx messages when using the "SysEx Edit" type for both Input and Output. To do so, SysEx Input would contain the message to remove, and its corresponding SysEx Output message would ...

Re: Sierra game synth guide, v3

Thanks Lucas, but reverb and chorus is controlled by CC messages, not SysEx. :) The reason to turn the synth off is because of the game sending a GM (?) reset. You're welcome, and the second group of code (and qmr file) I posted already should work to delete the GM reset (which is only SysEx, after...

Re: Sierra game synth guide, v3

Hey folks, I posted this in the Facebook group "Sierra Music and Memories" this week after it hit 300 members (come join!). It's the 3rd revision of my "what Sierra games to play with what synth" guide, and has some extra information for those that seek it, as well as quick navi...

Re: Newbie alert - Using MT32 with a DAW

or, possibly, some special SysEx. Here's what I've gleaned from the MT-32 manual, and it should work for the CM-{32L,64} too, but it's untested until I get home with ample time (when I'll likely record it as a standard MIDI format file): f0 41 10 16 12 10 00 0d 00 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 47 f7 (Edit: ...
