(1) I found a site that has an archive of the Quest Studios MIDIs (but not file # 14), and also another set of MIDIs, extracted from the game in 118 pieces. http://www.mirsoft.info/gmb/music_info. ... e=Mjg1NA== However, these still sound wrong even after sending the Willy SysEx from the Quest portion of the archive to my MT-32, so I dunno how useful these are.
So these are the MIDI's that are from the Sega CD version of the game. They're a variation on the MT-32 tracks.
(2) I found that another person has done FLAC recordings of Willy Beamish on the MT-32 already. The website he used is now gone, but the links are still valid.
* Archived website - https://web.archive.org/web/20170428232 ... y-beamish/
* Download part 1 - https://mega.nz/file/sgIBFYIK#m1lRh1rso ... uZVfpQKLTM
* Download part 2 - https://mega.nz/#!BgA0lA5I!aIFebl80QRjL ... nG34zF3-Bs
VengefulChip is OK, but horrible naming conventions and generally not great quality recordings (IMO). No editing effort ala Tom's or my work.

If you're interested, digital recordings can be found of my MT-32 soundtrack at this web.archive page (why are all these pages gone??):

Now looking for: cbgm12.zip from The Colonel's Bequest, originally described as:
"Victrola Music #7" by Ken Allen. Too bad Laura didn't have access to a digital victrola. Includes embedded SysEx patch bank for the MT-32.
What we now call Victrola Theme #1-4 and Fifi's Victrola #1-3, Tom had originally recorded as #7, #221, #223 (Ravel's Bolero), #225, and #226 (and left two themes absent).

Also looking for: cqcsc15.zip from Conquests of Camelot, originally described as:
"The Catacombs & Ruins" by Mark Seibert. Watch out for the rats! The General MIDI version contains "The Ruins" only -- sorry, no rats. Includes embedded SysEx patch bank for the MT-32.
And looking for: fpgm9.zip from Freddy Pharkas, originally described as:
"Revolucion Numero 9" by Aubrey Hodges. Right. Wonder if you can play this song backwards and discover clues about Al Lowe's mysterious death? General MIDI version only.

Here's some more, that I'm looking for!
  • Title: Code-name: ICEMAN. Track: The Compound
    cni_6.mid (cni_6.zip) - MT-32 version
  • Title: Conquests of Camelot. Track: "The Catacombes & Ruins"
    cqc_15.mid (cqc_15.zip) - MT-32 version of cqcsc15 (mentioned previously)
  • Title: Rise of the Dragon. Track: "The Pleasure Palace"
    draggm2.mid (draggm2.zip) - General MIDI version
  • Title: Space Quest IV. Track: "Our Hero!"
    sq4_8.mid (sq4_8.zip) - MT-32 version
    sq4gm8.mid (sq4gm8.zip) - General MIDI version
  • Title: The Incredible Machine 2. Track: "1959 Prom"
    tim2gm11.mid (tim2gm11.zip) - General MIDI version
Also, on the page for "Pepper's Adventures in Time", Tom wrote for various tracks:
"For General MIDI only....though MT-32 users can simply transmit Sierra's generic GM patch bank to playback this MIDI file."

Tom did not provide a link to the file he meant.

There's a "Sierra Generic MT _Driver_" on the utilities page, but that's not a patch bank.

In other places where Tom did provide a single SysEx download link (e.g. The Incredible Machine and The Incredible Machine 2), Tom provided separate SysEx files for each game (tim.syx, tim2.syx)... which I wouldn't expect if these were the "Generic" SysEx patch bank referenced.

So I'm confused and looking for guidance.

For the second part- Sierra's generic GM patch bank is the same from KQ6/QFG3 onwards. So transmit the SysEx from ANY of the post 1992 games, they're all the same. If you had the real bank and not Tom's one, you'd see they all have the same LCD message: "Sierra On-Line".

Dynamix had their own generic GM bank, used in TIM, SQ5, BAK and a few others. They're very different (the Dynamix one is way worse, although more accurate over the GM spectrum, where Sierra's has missing instruments for some cases).

Files coming.

You edited your post, and I had my browser open from earlier, so I missed the Iceman one. Here it is :)

Sorry about that. :) Most of the files I've asked for in the last batch are files that I believe neither I nor Andrew have. So those are very important to collect.

Now I'm back to just asking for things that I think Andrew has, but I don't.

Starting a new list:
  • Title: Freddy Pharkas. Track: "Closing Themes"
    fpgm5.mid (fpgm5.zip) - GM version

No problem, just explaining why I posted twice. :)

Here's FPGM5.
