Yes, it has been. And sounds exciting, would love to hear more!
And yes, I have. Mike is my "friend" on Facebook and he's a lovely guy who's still active in the (Fresno, CA) jazz community.

Re: 22 years of SMC, KQ7 track released
Goodness - I'm late to the party. I've recently visited the website more (I'll explain more in a little while with a posting to everyone here) and now just looked back on the forum. Happy (very) belated birthday! We all have been on here for aaaaaaages it seems... So glad you kept all of this alive...

Re: 22 years of SMC, KQ7 track released
Thanks my friend. Up to track 25, near the end of Chapter 2 currently. By my estimations, a "complete soundtrack" - not counting the unused, demo tracks etc - would be about 95 tracks! Albeit, they are a bit shorter on average loops than KQ6 for example, about 30-50 seconds instead of 1 mi...

22 years of SMC, KQ7 track released
Hey folks, Not exactly earth-shattering news to wake up to today. But for my 39th birthday, and the 22nd anniversary of Sierra Music Central, I recorded the first track I've recorded, edited and recorded digitally all, in a long time. It's the main theme, "A Land Beyond Dreams" from King's...

Re: YouTuber reviews the Roland E-20
Yeah, I saw this in my feed. I wrote about the E-line on the VOGONS forums a while back, essentially the E-10 is a MT-32, E-20 is a second gen one, and the E-30 is a CM-32L. Because the synths use different patch lists they may not be compatible for gaming. The one I want someday is a Pro-E, a mini ...

Thanks for sharing the link! A cursory listen shows it's quite interesting! Bonus points for creative use of the drum sounds.

Re: Two versions of the Quest for Glory V Overture
Still haven't played the game, but thanks for this! I'll have to ask Chance about it sometime. I presume the in-game version matches the CD and not the Spotify one?

Re: Teaser Trailer for remake of Roberta Williams' Mystery House
Thanks for posting Marten, I had heard about it but not seen this!
It looks.. Odd? I don't get much of a Sierra vibe from that trailer. Sort of Laura Bow undertones but mostly Phantasmagoria ones.. I guess those are Sierra titles, though! Hopefully it will be good.

KQ6 fun project in the works
Hey folks, This is probably not of interest to most, but to those it is - I hope this is exciting for you! For some background - I consider Tom Lewandowski's KQ6 MIDI edits and soundtrack CD to be amongst the best work he (and everyone else since) ever made, extremely intelligently blending the MT-3...

Re: MT-32 in commercial movies / music
Very cool, farvardin! Thanks for sharing. I used to be big into movie scores and this is a good excuse to get back in. I would imagine the D-50 was the most commonly used, however the multitimbrality of the D-110/MT-32 means they would have been used too. The Bob Siebenberg album "Heads Up - Th...
